  2. The genius behind such works as "Goldberg Variation" and The Well-Tempered Clavier, Johann Sebastian Bach was born in 1685. He began his musical studies at the age of 9 when he became an orphan after being raised by his brother for 6 years until entering into choir practice under Michaelis Church's minister who would later become director during those formative years which helped shape some incredible pieces including ones with strong tradition like The Goldbergs variations.

The Toccata and fugue in D minor is perhaps one of his most imposing works for organ. It has been transcribed to play on guitar, violin or even large orchestra (as seen with Walt Disney's Fantasia). written at ages 23-24 it contains rich colors & sonorities that are masterfully exploited when arranged for six horns
