The world famous Alexander full double French horn, the 103 has been unmatched in tone quality and intonation. It's sought after by professionals from all over for its compact sound that can easily be heard over larger instruments.
The unique change valve of the Alexander model 103 was patented in 1909 and it still maintains its trademark sound today. The 103 also features a 12.1mm bore and a 310mm bell diameter. The body is a medium size wrap, slightly smaller in design than the average double horn.
The model 103 is a great option for those looking for something more lightweight and easy to carry. With 3 different metal finishes to choose from plus a variety of other options, the 103 can be tailored to meet your exacting sound and playing preference.
Each Alex 103 horn includes a complimentary care package which contains an Alexander mouthpiece, a set of oils, cloth, pencil, hand guard and pencil holder. Alexander horn cases are also available and sold separately.
