Some of these studies seem deceptively simple, but in the wake of Anekke Scott’s recent recordings of Gallay and others on the hand horn, it’s obvious that they are ideal as hand horn studies and that some of the “easier” ones provide ideal nursery slopes for honing hand horn technique.
