Black label horn rotor oil is of a thin consistency and it instantly loosens up sticky valves to which the wrong type of oil had been applied.

I always return to Paxman for the valve oils I need to keep my french horn in good working order. Thanks again. 📯

This set of Oils is good value for money. In my mind, the quality of these have improved greatly from those of old and keep Rotor valves moving fast & slick.

I have come back to the 'three oil' workout, although my instrument has no need for the Lever Linkage Oil, and find it the perfect lubricant to keep the instrument in good order. The valves are definitely more springy and that's invaluable in general playing. The grease is my top choice, as other more inferior products are too thin in consistency; with Paxman's grease there is no slipping of the valve slides, they stay put. Thanks again!

The oils seem fine, but the website is misleading; it shows a photo of 5 oils, whereas the ‘Paxman oils and greases’ is only for 3 bottles ( I was sent the link by my son’s French horn teacher so ordered without looking at the description). When I rang to query my delivery, I suggested the photo should be replaced with one showing the bottles you are actually going to get, rather than including 2 extra (this hasn’t been changed so might catch other people out).

Itams as described fast delivery and have used them on my two F and Eb rotor value slide trombones I will reorder from you when needed.

I found the guidelines on their website really helpful so that I was able to order the right items for what I needed. They came quickly, and have been really good. Thanks Paxman! Just saving up for my own horn now...
